Today one of my residents came to me requesting that I look something up on the computer for him. He gave me the web address and when the site came up I said, “Sir, I think you must have this wrong, this is a website for mail-order brides from Russia.”
“No, no miss, that’s the right one,” he said, “I am interested in seeing if one would like to come out and marry me – all Russian women want to come to America to marry an American man you know.”
“Well, umm sir, how do you think she’ll feel when she gets here and finds out you’re Canadian?”
“Hmph, I guess I hadn’t considered that.”
